Our trip was both an escape from the Arizona summer heat as well as a wonderful study in Hawaii living. The entrance to the trail is about midway between Phoenix and Payson off the Beeline (87) highway. The trip basically entails collecting up as many of your friends as you can, flying to Alaska, doing some site seeing, and having dinner at The Double Musky - the best restaurant in Alaska if not the entire West coast! We were honored by all the family and friends who came to Napa to participate in our wedding. Napa of course provided the perfect setting, and the Carneros Inn is one of our favorite spots to stay whenever we visit Napa. I can honestly say that these were the best days of my life.
